Birth to Potty Cloth Nappies

When price is important

Washable Nappies - Birth to Potty or B2P or OSFA(one size fits all)

Birth to Potty Cloth Nappies

Info:

Available in most styles - Pocket, Fitted and All in One. B2P is a term used to refer to Birth to Potty nappies. You may also know of the term OSFA which means "One Size Fits All".

The obvious advantage of birth-to-potty sized nappies is that they are an economical option as one only needs to buy one set of nappies. There is no doubt that this makes them extremely convenient.

However, when one first starts using a birth-to-potty size nappy on a newborn, the nappy may look out of proportion. Because babies grow so quickly at this stage, they will grow into the nappy faster than you may think.

Most birth to toddler nappies are fastened with either a Aplix or poppers. The downside to using a birth to potty nappy system is that the nappies are normally not going to be suitable for using on another baby. This is because they will have been in full time use for 2 – 3 years meaning that these nappies will have had around 300 - 600 washes each.

Imagine washing the same t-shirt every second day for three years - what might it look like after 300—600 washes? Probably tired and worn out, a t-shirt doesn't have nearly as hard a life as a nappy!

I would generally expect good quality Birth to Potty nappies to last through that many washes and then be very pleasantly surprised if they still had any life left in them after that!
